Lake George Chamber Orchestra Concert May 2, 2010 (Today!)

Come experience Beethoven's 9th Symphony with us, in all its glorious four movements - the culmination of more than a year of preparation by LGCO - today! Four phenomenal vocalists join us for the rousing 4th movement - "Ode to Joy" - including returning artist Randall Scarlata. Learn more about our singers on the LGCO website at lgco.org .

Due to space requirements, the concert will be held at a new location - the Adirondack Community College auditorium, known as the "Adirondack Science Building Theatre". Hope to see you there!

Lake George Chamber Orchestra Concert Announce Newsletter

Welcome to the third and final concert concert in our 27th season! We have quite the undertaking at hand, a hand that may reveal a royal flush one card at a time! Violinist Naho Tsutsui will perform Shostakovich Violin Concert No. 1 with the orchestra, which will continue to play the first two movements of Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Concerts in our next season will complete our journey into Beethoven's masterpiece, so stay tuned for those as well! But for now, all you need to know ... is that admission for the concert this Sunday is free and seating is unreserved, so please arrive EARLY to claim the best view possible! Music at the Hyde Concert on April 6, 2008

Greetings!

This is a special announcement for a chamber music concert this weekend at the Hyde Collection, featuring long-time friends of LGCO. "Music at the Hyde" is a new joint project with musicians Steven Beck, Diana Cohen, Kyle Armbrust, Eric Jacobsen, and LGCO to bring high quality chamber music to the area.

Please note that that this is not an LGCO season concert; admission is $25. However, we are pleased to offer FREE ADMISSION for high school students with ID, as part of our mission to promote classical music to youths. This is an excellent opportunity for families to experience a sweeping performance, from Purcell to Bartok!

Our next concert is right around the corner!

Welcome back for the 25th season of the Lake George Chamber Orchestra! We have a special treat for you this, our first concert - Shelley Showers, French Hornist for the Philadelphia Orchestra, will perform Mozart's invigorating Horn Concerto No. 3.
